 Yvon en Louise

 

Verspot op Maja

Ons het vir Yvon en Louise in 2011 in Italië op die Dolomites Staproete ontmoet. Ons het toevallige dieselfde roete gestap. Deur die jare het Yvon en Archie kontak gehou en Yvon het hierdie jaar afgetree. 

Dit was 'n groot risiko, die saam geseilery. Maar dit was vyf dae van heerlike saamkuier, saam werk, saam stap en lag en gesels. Hulle albei het 'n goeie sin vir humor en is ongelooflik behulpsaam. 

Hulle het die mooiste stemme en het gereeld vir ons mooi Franse liedjies gesing wat ons baie geniet het.

As stappers waardeer hulle die goeie en belangrike dinge in die lewe. Baie dankie julle twee vir vyf ongelooflike dae saam met ons en Maja in die pragtige Griekse eilande.

Ons het vir hulle gevra wat het hulle die meeste geniet saam met ons op Maja. Hulle kan nie Afrikaans praat nie, maar hulle het so geantwoord:

For Yvon :

A: My 3  best experience were: 1-the complicity quickly established between us, 2-the simplicity of our relation during those 5 days and 3-our friendly meals, even on the boat or at the restaurant.

B: My favorite place was when we were walking on the road and we discovered the chapel of Mama Mia on the rock in the sea, and where Marietjie was so happy. It was so cute !

For Louise :

A: My best experience … honestly, I can’t choose … navigation of course, exploring the islands by foot after and moving every day, the nice and simple connection with you both, your generosity to share your experience of this nomadic life, sense of well-being especially at supper and the cheerful atmosphere, anchoring and swimming around the boat in this transparent and comfortable (weather) water …

B: Skopelos, both the anchoring at Loutraki and the stay at Skopelos Town.

In response to your suggestion to join you next year to continue this trip with you, we accept the invitation, if it is always possible, of course. Best time for us should be beginning of May because Yvon has to be back home around 20 of May. We would try to find a hiking trail somewhere in Europe to do in April (before), or some other project. Do you have an idea of the possible dates?
