Dis 'n
bloedrooi ou veerboot en Archie merk op "its only the paint that keeps
it together". Gelukkige het Elize dit nie gehoor nie, anders sou sy
haar vreeslik bekommerd het. Ons waai totdat ons mekaar nie meer kon
sien nie. Archie sê: "Komaan, dis nou genoeg!"

Daar gaan hulle |

Koebaai julle |

Weg is hulle |
Elize
en Fanie se seilvakansie is verby. Hulle het van Monemvasia tot by
Poros saam met ons geseil. Baie gesien, baie geloop, baie geklim.
Maja
voel leeg en eensaam. Ons wag vir die wasgoed van Souzi's wassery. Kwansuis 'n
twee-uur diens, maar ons wag vyf ure. Toe die wasgoed kom, vaar ons
alleen leen leen na Tselevinia, 6.7 myl. Môre is dit 'n lang kruising
met baie wind. Ons gaan slaap vroeg.

Let's try again!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place Poros is - it does look like an idyllic place to settle at.
Marietjie, glad to hear your ear is better.
How lovely to spend time with family enjoying such lovely places.
Archie, you mentioned that I must click on Preview, but could never find a Preview button, until I opened up my Eng/Afr dictionary to discover that Voorskou means Preview - so lets try that one!
Yes. I must admit I am also sometimes baffled with Bloggers Afrikaans, even though it is correct. I have sent you a mail explaining how the problem with your came about. I trust it is all sorted now.
ReplyDeletePoros is a fantastic place and Marietjie would really like to buy a house there but until our ship comes in it will have to remain on the wish list.
We now start some serious sailing. Crossing the Cyclades to Turkey is not for the faint-hearted as here is a N-NE wind called the Meltemi which can howl down through the island chain for days /weeks on end and makes crossing difficult. Hold thums for us.
